DIANNA and CHARLIE’S 6th ANNIVERSARY

Thank you all for coming to celebrate the 6th Anniversary of our wedding. Tonight’s Dinner, and your attendance, is my gift to Dianna. Everything has been especially prepared for this occasion, and I hope you enjoy your meal. 

To celebrate this occasion, I have prepared the following:

  • Crab Cake Appetizer in Lemon-Dill Saffron Cream – Our Crab Cakes have become pretty popular. Tonight I’ll be having one for the first time. Dianna ‘taste-tested’ my recipes, and helped improve the Crab Cakes to their final form. We usually serve them with a Roasted Red Bell Pepper Coulis, though I decided that tonight should be a little more special.
  • A cup of Cream of Mushroom Soup – Tonight’s version was prepared with Marsala instead of the usual Sherry… mostly because I was out of Sherry. The reason we’re serving a cup is two-fold. First, that’s what we usually serve, and second, I thought a bowl might be too much. There’s more to come.
  • Tomato and Mozzarella Salad. – Simple, yet elegant. You all know how much Dianna loves Tomatoes, right?
  • Tourte Milanese - Homemade Mille Feuille (Thousand Leave Puff Pastry) shell filled with Seasoned Eggs, Prosicutto, Ham, Spinach, Roasted Peppers and Cheese.

  • Chou Puffs filled with White Chocolate Raspberry Mousse, topped with a Chocolate Chambord Sauce. Named "I'd Eclaire" by Dianna.
